This review was conducted for six different registry software applications. Before running any of the registry software the start up and shut down times of the pc were measured.
A scan and repair were then conducted three times in a row, with the final time introducing the start up management feature.
The test was designed to check that there was consistency with regards to checking errors and ensuring there was a reduction in errors each time registry fix scanned the registry.
Secondly it was to check the differences in start up and shut down times and to check if there was an improvement in time and lastly to check the responsiveness of the computer and whether it felt sharper and more responsive after the registry repairs. Here are the registry fix review results:

On the first scan, Registry Fix picked up 399 problems with the pc.
The Pc was shut down and restarted. On the first restart, the computer was restarted in 3 minutes and 26 seconds, which was an improvement of 27 seconds first off. The registry fix review result was second out of all the registry software tested. The machine felt quick and responsive and was sharp on the restart.

The second scan found only six errors.
This was equal best with registry mechanic as to the least number of errors found on the second scan. These were fixed and the machine was shut down. The shut down took 1:06 min, also a 27 second improvement.
The restart was also quicker by 3 seconds after the second scan and fix.
Scan three and start up management:
The final scan picked up only three errors, these were fixed and the start up management feature was implemented. On shut down the computer took 59 seconds.
The final start up took 2:16 min; this was the quickest of all the software reviewed. This registry fix review result could perhaps been eclipsed by Registry mechanic, however registry mechanic didn’t have the startup management function which the other registry software did. This is an improvement of 42% on start up speed. The machine also felt very good after these fixes.
Registry fix review: overall impression
I thoroughly enjoyed using this software. It was intuitive and well put together. It has a professional feel about it and was ideal. The computer came back with excellent response times for both the start up and shut down. It also felt great using it after the scans.
The only quirk was on ordering the software, the website asked for my name, which is Greg. When I entered it, the site told me that my name was wrong and had to be 6 letters long!
 That would never distract me from using this excellent piece of software though.
